Anime Tiers Privacy Policy

Anime Tiers is a small, invite-only app built for a private group of friends to make and share seasonal anime tierlists. This page explains what information the app collects and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account info: your username and display name. Your password is stored as a one-way hash and is never visible to anyone, including admins.
• Content you create: your tierlist rankings, any custom tier names you set, saved filter presets, and any feedback you submit through the app's suggestion form.
• Avatar image: if you choose to upload one.
• Basic usage data: which day you last opened the app, used only to show an approximate "active users" count to admins. Nothing more granular is tracked.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
• We don't run ads or any third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.
• We don't access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

Who can see what

Your tierlists, display name, and avatar are visible to other members of the group by design — that's the point of the app. Admins can additionally see basic account metadata and submitted feedback.

Third-party content

Show titles and poster images are sourced from the public AniList API for display purposes only; this doesn't involve any of your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. To request that your account and associated data be deleted, contact the app admin directly.
